The absolutely fucking moronic “hamburger menu” is something that nearly every piece of software has now, whether it makes any sense or not.
What a useless piece of clown shit foisted off on us by complete fucking idiots.

Iโm from new Jersey it was the Nice Diner, not the local glorified breakfast joint

Pizza Hut. When I was seven, I did not think there was or even could be a finer restaurant.
My hospital has been shut down due to an outbreak of woke mind virus. the dialysis machines are clogged with pronouns and the air ducts are teeming with Critical Race Theory. Reports suggest the vector for WMV-1 was a bottle of gender fluid left at the nurses' station.

This is admittedly funny…but at the same time a lot of these people sincerely believe that biology isn’t real. Which is pretty damn stupid.
All y’all who ever trusted Google:
Too many people still think corporations love them — really love them — and have their best interests in mind.
ChatGPT is astonishing. That screeching sound you can hear is everyone moving the goalposts. Ten years ago this tech would have been seen as impossible.
— Jamie Susskind (@jamiesusskind) December 13, 2022
That always happens with AI, though. The better it gets the more the goals get redefined.
If we had a fully humanoid AI with an IQ of 160, a lot of people would declare it a failure if it didn’t like shellfish or something. This will be a constant thing.
When I become Galactic Overlord, my very first decree will be that headphone jacks must be present on all phones.
Anyone violating this decree will be cloned once a day and slowly eased into the nearest star for 5,000 years.

Yep. I know PMC libs will boggle, but also regarding my below post there is a difference between calculated risk and stupid risk. “Complete safety” is a sham, a lie. It can never be.
The people who lost all their money in FTX (or most of it), or in doing inadvisable things like shorting stocks, or going far out on margin and all that — you never win doing things like that. Or very, very rarely at least.
If something sounds too good to be true, it is. Heavily paraphrasing Warren Buffett here, the primary goal should be to survive. If you don’t do that you have nothing. No, I’m not making much money right now in the market, but who cares? I have nearly all the money I already made. I’m doing great. I wasn’t out on margin, didn’t “invest” or put any money in FTX and have free cash I can throw at the market any time I like.
In short, I survived with nearly all my capital and am ready for what’s next. And that’s the way you do it.
Millennials and Gen Z clowns are rending their garments in shame and horror. Can it possibly be true that a lot of people have relationships based on personal connection? Surely not, right? The algorithm must dispense truth, justice, and companionship!
We really fucked up when we convinced millions of people that all relationships were only about power, and that meeting anyone in person was some kind of power imbalance and automatic harassment. What a weird damn set of ideas.
I miss my old cheap Sears jacket that no longer fit because I got so swole.
It was such a nice jacket for the $$ and had perfect pockets. The price one pays for becoming glorious….
Donโt hear much advocacy for paid sick leave. Yet a low value intervention like masking kids has become the proverbial hill to die on.
We have lost our way.
COVID like we knew it is over for now. Surges and blips will likely happen.
Want to advocate for paid sick leave ???— Karim Ali (@NHBugBusterDoc) December 11, 2022
My hypothesis about this is that because masking has an obvious visual signifier it’s far easier to have identity formation around this. Also, because it’s “easy” and low-cost that makes it much more likely to get wrapped up in culture-warring. On the other hand, paid sick leave is a difficult political fight that confers no status benefits, has no conspicuous identifier that signals one’s virtue, and does not often directly benefit PMC libs — so most of them don’t give a rip about it.
These well off professional men without kids who are like: "what pandemic restrictions?"
I'm just like man it must be nice to have that kind of privilege. Last year at this time I had to take close to a month off work unpaid because of random, unpredictable school closures.

People saying “there were no real lockdowns” anywhere when I had a friend in the UK having suicidal thoughts because she spent 9 months cooped up inside and then almost got arrested the one time she went out.
And then Angie’s experience, too, was common in the US. PMC libs have no idea.
So I agree with this but I also think people who live in an expensive walkable city and then fly six times a year should be less smug
— Angie Schmitt🚶♀️ (@schmangee) December 13, 2022
Six times a year? That few? ๐
I just cannot bring myself to care about Elon Musk as much as either his haters or his worshippers do. What a waste of time.
Gwynne Shotwell, though. That’s another story. She’s awesomesauce all day long.

Even though I’d do the same damn thing were I a Ukrainian being genocided, that’s pretty scary.
