She is right, as has been clear for a while; the Baltics and likely Poland would’ve been up next if Russia had succeeded easily and quickly in Ukraine. Then, perhaps Finland as well. Having already fought more than one bloody war against Russia, Sanna Marin and Finland in toto operate under no illusions about the Russian threat.
Many people there still alive recall losing relatives to Russian invasion. It’s not some nebulous faraway risk like it is to clownish American leftists.
Funny, I was told if we didn’t bow down to Russia, Europe would inevitably become a de-industrialized backwater and that we’d all die of famine. Huh. Turns out that most people don’t have a damn clue what they are talking about (especially when they are suffering from Russian propaganda infusions).
