Yeah, this shit always puzzles me too. I swear to fucking god a lot of millennial and Gen Z clown-ass motherfuckers think people with a three year age gap are completely different species; like it’s a cetacean trying to talk to a slime mold or some such thing. How did they get this idea? Where in the world did such a strange notion come from?

I’ve had friends of all ages and always have. And I think it’s better for most people (even women) to date and have relationships with people of all ages (as long as all are above the age of majority). I’ve just never noticed such a huge divergence as these people claim to see. Perhaps it’s because I’m attracted friend-wise and romantically to strong, confident, and intelligent people? I don’t know.

Why is Gen Z and younger millennials so very obsessed with age gap relationships? “Oh my god, he’s 37 minutes older than her, it’s the apocalypse!” I just do not understand.

When you think about it, it’s an exceptionally oddball idea that men should not have any standards in dating — and in fact it’s misogynistic for them to have any — while women should have extremely high standards that no real man can meet.

How did that happen? (It certainly shows who actually controls dating itself and the narrative around it. Hint: it ain’t men.)
