Quiet

Me too. I am often as surprised by what comes out of my mouth as everyone else is. That’s why I am seen as “quiet.” I’m not naturally quiet. I just must be very careful around normies.

How have you been typecast as a creep just because you are a man?

Oh yes! It happens all the time to nearly all men. Less now since I’ve gotten a lot more attractive but it still happens.

I would not have been so nice after that. I would’ve cut that ID up and thrown it in the trash pronto. But then, I am spiteful.

How women treat men is a result of trauma, I know, but most women consider all men default creepy rapists. And that’s hard to bear because I am not and most men are not in fact creepy rapists. Kind of just like most black people are not criminals…but we’re not supposed to treat black people that way (rightly) but it’s ok for women to treat all men like creepy rapists.

But the world ain’t and never will be fair nor self-consistent.

Whose Impossible?

I’ve been doing my “impossible” celebrity workouts for years now. I’m 46. It’s not even that hard honestly. I could work out even harder if I wanted to, for diminishing returns. And no, I don’t have good genetics and am not particularly athletic.

What are people even talking about when they claim these workouts are impossible? I worked out 4x this much in the army.

I’ve also never been injured and never had any issues (other than minor tendon soreness) due to my workouts. It just seems for most people “impossible” equates to “mildly inconvenient.”

Aella

Aella could discover cold fusion, cure cancer, and make a warp drive and she would still be laughed at in academia. If her ideas actually worked, they’d be stolen (as many already have been) and attributed to someone else who was ritually permitted to wield the Holy Science.

In my own case, it has been economics ideas that are now widely accepted and/or openly debated. When I had and promulgated these same ideas 15-20 years ago, they were laughed at, called “ludicrous” and I was called in an econ forum thread (and I’m quoting here) a “fucking retard.” One of the people berating me in that thread now advocates those same ideas. Funny how that works. Wish I’d saved all that as the forum is long gone now.

It’s hilarious academic mooks talking about Aella’s surveys being worthless when those same people survey WASP college students age 18-22 and think that’s representative of all humanity. Just…how?

Two Too

True. I was recently in some large airports in the US. Out of the maybe 10,000 people I saw with my own eyes, two were in masks. Two that I noticed (and I’m good at noticing things). Masks are done and over.

Quantum Entanglement Isn’t All That Spooky After All.

This is a fucking terrible article — even though I agree with it! It doesn’t explain anything or really offer any reason why quantum entanglement isn’t spooky. It’s just hand-waving without any depth.

QE isn’t spooky because it just falls out of how the universe seems to work and it’s obvious when you understand it. But it also is completely against our macro intuitions and means local reality isn’t “real” in a very meaningful sense. And that actually is a very odd (I won’t say “spooky”) thing. This person could’ve done a lot better job of expanding on that but couldn’t in service of making a poorly-reasoned point.

Terrible non-explanation for something that is in fact counterintuitive to our notions about how the universe works.
