Many Times

That’s about what I’d calculated too. I thought it’d be around 700x as much mining, which was not bad for the five minutes I spent on it a few months ago.

Least Nude

I sent a female friend of mine this text earlier:

“Send me a photo of you when you can. The least nude photo you have (most clothes possible). I want to see nothing”

She sent back, “I mean this in the best possible way, but you are the weirdest guy I have EVER met. And that’s exactly why we’re friends”

Really Never

Hey another one of those things I was told “could never happen….” FUNNY THAT KEEPS HAPPENING

No Ifs Ands or Bots

Agreed — and yet a lot of y’all, including Laurie Penny in the past, portray all men as sex-crazed robot default rapists. Seems a little unfair, doesn’t it? Even if it is true of some men.

Pairody

Idea for a dating service for liberals: You are only allowed to date people born on exactly the same year and day as you. Twice a year, all singles born on a certain year and day meet in a city and pair off.

Surely this would eliminate (already mostly bullshit) power imbalances completely!

Agee

AITB for cutting my friend off for dating a 19 year old at 25?

LOL WUT. I just do not understand why so many people seem to think people with relatively-minor age differences are completely different species. No, I did not date or attempt to date any of them, but I had plenty in common with the 20ish-year-old interns at a previous job — more in fact than I did with co-workers my own age. Because I don’t like golf, don’t like to talk about my mortgage or my (non-existent) health problems, etc. And am up on contemporary music, culture, and the like. I had absolute tons more in common with the intern I was mentoring than the 40- and 50-year-old dudes sitting on either side of me. We basically had nothing to share at all except we were close to the same age. Nothing at all.

In this case it’s obviously just extreme jealousy that the dude chose not to date her. As is often — perhaps most often — the case.

Contra Contra

Agreed.

And even though we were called “insane” for saying it at the time by bien pensant pseudo-liberals, the main point of banning abortion was to attack and then eliminate contraception and to roll back women’s freedom in the sexual and other realms.
