I really like Louisville and its people, culture, restaurants, schools. But I think often about whether my family and I will end up moving somewhere else in a few years.

If you’re in a red state and not a conservative (aka fascist), leave now. It’s only going to get worse. Far worse. Those will not be livable places in a decade. This is not going to be something that reverses anytime soon and you won’t make it better by staying in or moving to a red state. Just leave them to the cretins. They deserve what’s going to happen to them.
