What is a thing that makes you think “Wow, I’m really getting older”?

Talking to friends in their mid-20s and realizing that for them, 9/11 is something they’ve only read about in history books. They have no memory of it even if they were alive then.

A close friend of mine, her very first “world news” memory is of the second Iraq War in 2003. She was born in 1997.

I think every straight man alive has run across this:

Happened to me with more than one girlfriend. Said I didn’t feel like sex, got jabs that I “might be turning gay” etc. Contrary to popular belief by a lot of women, men are not unthinking sex beasts and we’re not always up (heh) and ready for sex.

And that last comment is dead on about how a lot of women behave. Many women dream of a world where they are only sexualized at the very exact instant they wish to be and no other time.

A lot of men dream of a world where they are sexually desired at all, ever. Big difference!
