I solve 70% of problems even for those in my own field by just reading the error message and doing what it says. That’s it, that’s all. And that’s ridiculous. How can people not do this? Doing so doesn’t make me some mega-genius. IMO it just makes me minimally competent to perform my role. But apparently that’s a lot to ask.
