Sooooo, has Hyper-V entered the chat yet?
Hyper-V works fine if set up correctly. I have put it into production for more than one client. All were pleased with it because I did it up right. Itโs harder to set up and its requirements for functioning reliably are more finicky than VMWare. A lot of people screw up the Hyper-V config and then complain it does not work well. Not surprising, then, is it?
To be fair, it does have more bugs than VMWare but even before Broadcomโs shenanigans it was vastly cheaper. Hyper-V is good enough for 98%+ of businesses.
