The upcoming war against China will be the first to see widespread use of anti-satellite weapons on both sides. Expect GPS to be intermittently to fully unavailable for 2-3 years.

Saw some gray whales today, way off in the distance. Was standing on some bluffs somewhere south of Mendocino. Even though they were far away, it was still really cool.
