Weโre Old, Retiredโand Apparently Invisible.
This has occurred in large part because America is the most age-segregated society in the Western world by far. Gen Zers as well as younger Millennials are convinced if there is more than a one year age gap, then those people have absolutely nothing in common and in fact are not even the same species. It’s the strangest thing.
It wasn’t always this way! When I was in my late teens and early 20s, I had friends my own age but also friends as old as early 70s. That was not unusual back then. Now it’d be unheard of and to Gen Z, it’d be creepy and “sus.”
This is what happens when you make every human relationship about power rather than care and affection. Socially, Gen Z is totally screwed. It’s not entirely their fault but it’s still not fun to observe.

I wonder if the increase in cancer in young people is connected to the recent prevalence of tattoos? If I were a betting man, I’d wager so; I assign that a pretty high probability. Tattoo ink is fairly invasive physiologically and creates persistent irritation/inflammation. And irritation is a known cause of cancer.
My guess is tattoo ink acts as a substance that enhances tumorigenicity when applied after a carcinogen. So, it’s multi-causal but that’s pretty common in today’s world; we’re exposed to various carcinogens all the time.
Hopeful
Man, someone who actually knows something about filmmaking created this. It’s so good.
And no one is Hope and should not try to be, which is why the cover itself works.
Dead Pony – RAINBOWS
Love it.
