It was time for something new. It’s disheartening how bad the WordPress tools have gotten, though. If there were anything better I’d use it. The whole world has moved to user-hostile applications and interfaces that everyone insists (and insists you insist) are better or you “just hate change.”

Yes, Timmy, in fact I do hate change that directly harms me. In fact I very much do.

The “block editor” is something only a complete clown could’ve developed and then imposed on the world. It’s an abomination of poor design, with an appalling interface and atrocious discoverability. An elementary school class could’ve come up with something better in an afternoon.

But what’s here is here; what was there is gone. Such as it ever was and ever will be.
