One of my employee makes more than I do.

I’ve made more than my managers before. It happens when you have unusual and specialized skills. It’s not at all uncommon in tech. It’s a whole lot easier to find a manager than it is to find someone with the combo of certs + skills I have.

That’s just the way it be.
