I had more than one person explain to me that Scott Alexander was actually a Nazi because…reasons. And they believed this, too. I’m not the biggest fan of his writing because it’s pretentious and overwrought, but claiming he is a Nazi is fucking ludicrous.
He’s mostly just a regular ol’ liberal in a sort of neo-Rooseveltian mold. Ain’t no swastikas there.
