Heat kills ~175,000 people in Europe each year and yet they still make it difficult to install AC in buildings because degrowth is a mind virus https://t.co/jXFNyli85n

Degrowth is an actively evil brain disease.
On Earth, if you drop something from 1m it will be moving 4.4 m/s when it hits the ground. On a neutron star, if you drop something from 1m it will be moving at 2.3 * 106 m/s, or 0.8% the speed of light.
And that would definitely cause the glass to break. No dropping stuff on neutron stars, y’all.
Micro-retirements involve taking a one to two-week break from work every 12 to 18 months.
Motherfucker, that’s called a vacation! What is this neoliberal shit? This is boss propaganda right here.
I’m old enough to remember when a narrow majority of anti-vaxxers were leftist types, not MAGA clowns.
They claim that was not true now, but they lie; that is the way it used to be.
PFAS in the quantities that are claimed to be harmful looks like a big nothingburger. The “forever chemicals” nonsense seems mostly to be another leftist panic. There is probably some very mild effect on kids, swamped by the vastly-unhealthy food most children consume, particularly in the US.
It’s worth it to have non-stick pans. It’s one of those, “We gave the rat PFAS shots for a year that amounted to 10% of its body weight per day. It died of cancer. PFAS is bad!”
Which is common in left “modernity should be rolled back” politics. I agree that there is PFAS risk. However, in the amount most people are exposed to in reality, it’s very tiny and would have minimal effect.
And also, most of the PFAS that most people are exposed to comes from firefighting effluent, not from fucking non-stick pans; leftist degrowrther types just hate non-stick pans because they are easier to use, so rejecting them means they can turn their nose up at modernity by doing something more difficult than it needs to be.
Man I hate degrowthers.

Yep. If Mexico had sent enough goons over to kill 40,000 people1 on US soil, most of them civilians, Mexico would no longer exist. Simple as that. It’d be a large parking lot.
The Palestinian “woe is me” act followed up by support of terrorism and rejecting good solutions grows old; even other Arab nations don’t want so-called Palestinian people living within their borders. And for good reason.
Israel has shown more restraint to Hamas, Gaza, and in general than I would have. That place would be empty now if October 7 had happened to my country. Devoid of all life.

Agreed. The Mac’s Finder is horrible and absolutely ridden with bugs, some of which have been there for more than a decade. It’s incredibly bad. And so very slow, especially if you deal with remote storage or more than a few hundred files. The Windows File Explorer is far superior despite its flaws.
Don't understand how anyone, as a credentialed professional, could think humans do not vary in capability. I've met peers that wildly outclass me in innate drive and insight.
How do you not ever notice this or encounter these people? There's something wrong with your perception.— SwiftOnSecurity (@SwiftOnSecurity) June 27, 2025
It’s just a worthless lefty shibboleth. It’s a lie, a cope. The reality is some people are innately vastly more talented and better at some things. And a rare few are better at nearly everything than anyone. (Those are the magicians.)
I’ve only once in my life met someone in person that was so far beyond me in every area that I felt like a lot of people feel when they meet me. This dude was effortlessly good at everything. He decided to learn to play guitar and got more skilled at it in three months than his dad had managed to in 20+ years of dedicated playing. I’d been doing photography for years. He’d never picked up a camera. When he did start shooting, he was better at composition and what made a great photo than I was in only a few days. He could learn a new language in a few weeks. He’d taken Calc II at the college level in 8th grade and made an A. You get the picture. He was so far beyond me intellectually that I felt completely outclassed. There was no way I could keep up. There was literally nothing I could’ve done even starting at age 0 to become even 1/5 as mentally capable as he was; he was just born that way.
And that fact (and that people like that exist) makes a lot of lefties cry big stage-ready tears. But it doesn’t change the truth of the matter.
Luckily, he was an incredibly nice and humble guy and we hung out a lot while we were in the same training program together. Especially since he had loads of free time as what it took me a couple of hours to do and a normie 6-8 hours to achieve he did in 30-45 minutes.
Dammit.
Itโs almost like much of the value of oneโs time is contained not within their private thoughts but in how they think together with others https://t.co/OLYSVb1qkQ

I’ve never — and I mean this sincerely, never — had a better thought or idea with any person or group than I’ve had alone. I can’t believe that anyone would defend noisy-ass bullpens where organized quality cogitation is simply not possible for the vast majority of people.
Brainstorming is confirmed bullshit and I really don’t care what anyone else thinks about anything or how they want to do it. I simply cannot think deeply with other people getting in my way and screwing up my concentration.
