I’ve never — and I mean this sincerely, never — had a better thought or idea with any person or group than I’ve had alone. I can’t believe that anyone would defend noisy-ass bullpens where organized quality cogitation is simply not possible for the vast majority of people.

Brainstorming is confirmed bullshit and I really don’t care what anyone else thinks about anything or how they want to do it. I simply cannot think deeply with other people getting in my way and screwing up my concentration.
