"But Noah, what if blocking people makes them happy? What if it makes them feel like they won?"
In that case, great! It's a win-win!
Good fences make good neighbors.

Everyone needs to read that poem again. Is Robert Frost the most misunderstood poet to ever live? โThe Road Less Travelledโ also has its message missed, and not because of lack of clarity.
The message of โMending Wallโ is to question the tidy homily of โgood fences make good neighbors.โ Really.
Why do they make good neighbors? Isnโt it
Where there are cows? But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall Iโd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offense.
Something there is that doesnโt love a wall,
That wants it down.
A great deal of poetry is not really understood, but Frostโs poetry is fairly lucid. I wonder why so often it is misprised?
