It would be funny if, a generation from now, the kids of today's twenty-somethings make fun of them for constantly getting sucked into outrage mobs. What are you "calling out" today, Dad?

I think this is pretty likely. Cultural fashions do include actions like outrage mobs and call-out culture. This will abate and look ridiculous in time, just like all does eventually.
