once I met a guy who when I told him I wanted to go into animation he said "I thought kids made animation?" when I said it it was actually adults that produced kids' shows he said that seemed "creepy and weird" & i can't believe I see the exact same sentiment from ppl on twitter

Huh! Do read the entire thread.
That explains a few things, or at least correlates with the fact that Iโve seen John Green, Joss Whedon and even Suzanne Collins called โcreepyโ for writing about teenagers. For some reason, I didnโt connect it to identitarian concerns. I thought it was the usual liberal โprotection from harmโ BS, but I was wrong.
Itโs really about the fact that Green, Whedon and Collins arenโt themselves teenagers. Itโs just identity wankery all the way down these days.
Are there really adults who think that kids write kidsโ shows and media with kids in them? Really? What the ever-lovinโ FUCK?
