If you can only Deadlift 500lbs after 10yrs training and someone else can dead 700lbs, it's not necessarily because;
1 they trained harder
2 they trained better
3 they know moreโ GuruAnaerobic (@GuruAnaerobic) August 22, 2020
Genetics matter, as much as progressives hate to hear it (but secretly know itโs true), and the more you reach close to your potential, and other peopleโs potential in comparison, the more they matter.
I simply do not have the genetics to deadlift 700 pounds. No matter how much I train, I will never be able to do that. But I saw a guy on YouTube about my height and only slightly larger than me muscularly who was deadlifting 700 pounds fairly easily. The difference between us? He likely has a genotype that allowed for more coordinated muscle recruitment and stronger connective tissue in the right places.
No matter what the libs claim, genetics matter, and in more areas than they want to admit.
