I wonder how much of the Covid-19 death rate and even symptomatic/hospitalization rate has to do with previous exposure to similar viruses, obesity prevalence, and some minor genetic differences, too.

Of course if we explored that, we couldn’t spin any sort of morality tale around the virus and lockdowns would be less evidventially supportable, too. Couldn’t have that, could we?
