I believe it. When I was in Germany, I was like, Where all the stores be at?
Iโm used to seeing a broken-down strip mall around ever corner. A Wal-Mart. A Kohlโs or Dillardโs. A Dollar General. Or something. But in Germany thatโs just not the case. Thereโs a shopping area or two, and the Hauptstraรe, and thatโs all.
Itโs much better, I admit. But it also feels a bit disorienting.
