Absolutely it does. How many times have I heard the odious phrase “completely safe,” usually spouted unironically by someone who pilots an oversized SUV like they were Evel fucking Knievel? Way way too many times.
The religion of complete safety is like believing the Tooth Fairy is real, but you’re even less likely to get your expected reward.

Anyway, breakthroughs are rare and getting very sick from Covid is *really* rare if you're vaxed. We need to keep an eye on how this progresses but if you've been vaccinated, you should carry on with life for the most part, taking precautions where necessary and as things evolve.
