Why is everybody so eager to give up the masks? I got vaccinated as soon as I could, but there's literally no reason not to add an extra layer of protection that costs me nothing. Masking kept me and my loved ones safe for a year, no reason not to keep using it for a little boost

I wonder how often it’s true that people like this who claim masks have no cost are non-neurotypical people who have trouble reading facial expressions and the like?

Because masks have very high costs from my persective. I have a lot of difficulty understanding others when they speak, I can’t easily determine their emotional state, and I myself cannot breathe or think very well.
