Part of the problem is that the vaccines have been mis-sold, thanks to our bad “experts” and our terrible press. Though it’s great if they protect you from infection (and they do, in most cases) they are really intended to protect you from kicking the bucket if you get sick.

This is how they should’ve been sold. This is what they are really for, mostly, and should’ve been pushed as such.
