With Celsius I feel like the difference between freezing and boiling is like two numbers and it’s hard for me to grok the vast jumps in temperatures between degrees. It’s like how I prefer grams to ounces when I measure flour.

That is the whole problem with Celsius exactly. The discrete units are too large. It’s an inhuman system (and was explcititly designed to be so). For the same reason as Janie, I prefer grams as well because the units are more appropriate.

Yes, you can say 27.5 Celsius or whatever but then you go from unit problems to sounding-like-a-robot problems.

Fahrenheit is a more human-friendly scale. Only goofuses and dipshits would argue against this.
