The myths of bodyweight training.
The basic advice isnโt bad, but I disagree with โitโs a mistake to want to be hot in the first place.โ I think that shouldnโt be a primary goal of weight training, but it is a worthy goal. It makes a huge difference to oneโs life. Sheโs reacting to past trauma and yo-yo dieting, I understand, and thatโs fine but sheโs largely wrong in her thoughts about motivation.
Getting strong first should indeed be your priority. I do agree with her there. But working out to look better is something Iโm very, very, very glad I did and it motivates me a lot. Sheโs making assumptions that getting hotter will not and cannot motivate anyone, which is just completely bogus. It is extremely motivating to me and to many people.
