What if the “sex trafficking mania” that’s sort of taken suburban social media by storm is a form of secular Evangelical eschatology, analogous to wokeism’s Congregationalist revivalism?

I think it’s another facet of prudishness. They’ve expanded the definition of “sex trafficking” to include nearly anything. One woman was claiming in a Twitter thread the other day that she was “nearly sex trafficked” when some guy in a parking lot spoke to her briefly and courteously.

For suburban white libs/feminists, an obsession with fake sex trafficking is a way of expressing their prudishness and adding some fake drama to their lives. Unfortunately, it harms real women but they don’t care about that at all.
