American media (esp. social media) on Ukraine exemplifies what I've called the "weaponized Dunning-Kruger effect."

Gawd almighty the stuff I’ve seen, all the “brilliant” military strategists who couldn’t successfully battle a chipmunk to undisputed victory, and all the mooks who believe that because Europe cares what is happening to a country that is literally fucking part of Europe, this is proof of racism. And those who believe a “no fly zone” is like a sign you put up or something and the warplanes just obey it.
The discourse is busted.
