Yep. I think this is something that most people donโt realize about getting fit: after you get fit, it takes very little work to maintain it. For most people if you actually work out hard when you do hit the weights, it only takes around 10% to maintain what it took to get there.
So if you work out like I do three days on and then a day off, you can change that to maybe once every 10 days if you want, depending on your genetics. Once a week would be safer, though, and would be what I have to do (poor genetics).
It takes a lot to get fit, but very little to maintain it once you get there. I wish they told more normies this because I believe that most of them think you have to work out as hard as I do for life to maintain it. And you simply do not.
