people keep saying banning abortion won't stop abortion it'll just increase unsafe abortions but like… conservatives know that? they do not care about stopping abortion they care about subjugation.

Yeah, conservatives very much know that and are couting on it. In their view if a woman dies procuring an illegal abortion, she deserves it and had it coming. I’ve heard this said hundreds of times if not thousands (I grew up in very religious, conservative rural North Florida around a bunch of fundies, so yes I do fucking know what I am talking about).
