I don’t know how the people who believe we should (somehow) force peace in Ukraine at any cost realize how insane that sounds and is. Would that even save lives long term? Russia has ambitions beyond Ukraine territorially, and anyway that’s ignoring the genocide that would occur in Ukraine if they are allowed to win.

Peace cannot be had by kneeling before an enemy who wants to destroy you and others. That is just not how it works.
