Husband is very upset my sister has gained weight.

I don’t understand why he’s obsessing over the sister so much, but it is indeed sad when someone lets themselves go. Even if they’re not beautiful it’s worth mourning because their health will decline — but if they are lovely, obesity is like dumping what’s vacuumed out of a Port-a-Potty on a Vermeer.

Think that’s harsh? Don’t care. It’s what most everyone is secretly thinking anyway. I just said it out loud (or in writing).
