One of my basic takes on wokeness is that essentially all of the problems it identifies are real, but very few of the solutions it came up with are effective.

I agree with that. Nearly all of what “woke” people are concerned with actually does occur to some extent, but how they plan to combat it either would intensify the problem or have no effect at all. For example: racial disparities. The woke solution is left-inflected resegregation which would make society massively worse and not even help those they believe to be harmed.

Somehow, the woke manged to identify a real problem but then propose the worst solution imaginable other than outright genocide. A bit puzzling to say the least.
