Microsoft wants to move Windows fully to the cloud.

I already avoid Windows as much as I can but I will redouble my efforts to do so as this occurs. We knew it was inevitable; they want your data and your rental fees in perpetuity, and to prevent any blocking of ads. It was always gonna happen.

But no reason to just go with it.
