People would trust science and scientists more if they didn’t routinely claim things that are obviously absolute dooftastic horseshit like that there are no differences between generations.

When there are huge, obvious, and persistent differences but you can’t fill out your little Excel spreadsheets right to measure them, the problem is with your spreadsheets. Why that is not clear I haven’t a clue. Some people are inclined to place way too much trust in Excel even when reality is smacking them in the face so hard witnesses are calling domestic violence hotlines.
