Lingua Anglia

Contrary to pop language books, there is nothing particularly strange, deficient, or exceptional in English. Its spelling is a little worse than some languages but not notably so. Itโ€™s a plain, bland language as far as such things go โ€” which is what global languages tend to become. It has no genders and cases (this is more complex than Iโ€™m making it here) so that makes it easier to learn than quite a few other languages.

The presence of interdental fricatives and large number of vowel sounds and vowel phonemes makes it stand out from other Western European-originated languages, but even those are shared by many other languages and language families.

English is nothing special, really. Just another language. Itโ€™s just the one (most of you reading this) know so it seems unique and special for that reason.
