Whatever you do, donโ€™t do deadlifts like this. Itโ€™ll wreck your back pretty quickly. I feel bad for her because no one probably ever showed her the correct way to do the lift, but in a year or two sheโ€™ll start having persistent back problems thatโ€™ll last for the rest of her life.

On the other hand, if you deadlift the correct way itโ€™ll actually strengthen your back.
