Doctors are ok-ish for common maladies and emergency surgeries where the issue is obvious. Mostly terrible for anything else.

I 100% guarantee I could out-diagnose nearly all doctors for rarer conditions. Most docs are not that smart, nor that diligent. Medical school is hard, sure, but it rewards a lot of memorization and not as much deep understanding. And just as an in any field, there is a bell curve of practitioner competence. Get the left of that curve, you’re gonna have a bad time.
