Stark Diff

Something that for years was not allowed to be discussed and that is also really foreign from menโ€™s experiences and understanding is the hatred attractive women often have for other attractive women.

As a dude with mostly female friends, I have to admit I still do not comprehend it. There is not a guy in the world who has ever thought (consciously or unconsciously1), Damn, I wish George Clooney werenโ€™t so attractive! That should be stopped! That is just not how male intrasexual competition works, to the extent it even exists post high school.

Like, itโ€™d never occur to a man that because there are more attractive male athletes than they are on TV, that those athletes should not be shown or should be forced to cover up. This is not a thought a man would have in a billion years. But itโ€™s how many women seem to operate by default for some reason. And I think that itโ€™s gotten far worse over the past couple of decades. Like most things, since the 1990s it has metastasized into something dark and dangerous.

Itโ€™s disconcerting to think that women would be more ardent supporters of sharia law than most men because theyโ€™d see it as disadvantaging their competitors. We should probably do something about that. Not sure what, though.

  1. As it is for many women, which makes it worse.
