This is something I have been saying for several years now. In my lifetime the “progressives” have switched places with conservatives so that they are now far more likely to be opposed to any change and/or progress than traditional conservatives ever were. It’s been strange to witness, and even odder as it has been so firmly denied while so very clearly occurring.

I do not know quite what to make of it, but it has been sad to see.
