Because it feels anti-Western to them and because Islam also seems to them unequivocal, which is appealing as compared to being reared in the wishy-washy mushiness of Western late pseudo-liberalism. And many of those women have fantasies of being forcibly taken by some unrelenting Muslim man1 . I know it makes no sense, but fantasies often do not.
