I grew up in a violent place. I don’t have a plan to kill everyone I meet if needed (I’m not that needlessly paranoid), but the second someone starts acting hinky or threatening around me or those I care about I do think about what I’d need to do to take them out.

Ideally, disable them enough to get away but if needed, kill them. I mean, what else would you do? Anything else is negligence. I’m not going to be injured or dead because I have no plan for handling some pugnacious dangerous dipshit. Fuck that.

I truly did never think I’d see the day when batteries, power generation and transmission and such became “gay” and “liberal.”

I mean, what the fuck? Could these doofuses get any stupider? I do not see how. An act of enormous self-harm for no gain at all (except to the Chinese).

Under current liberal thought, you absolutely cannot be a colonizer if your skin has even a slight tinge of brown. No matter what you have done or are doing now. With the exception of Israel, because they are Jews and the left is pretty damn anti-Semitic.

I so wish the left were substantially better than the right. But it’s just not. Not in practice.

Both parties are decel and degrowth, I agree.

The right’s, “Science is evil if it is disagrees with Big Sky Daddy or the quarterly report and batteries are gay” or the left’s, “We need to take away everything that makes life worth living and space is ‘nerd fantasy'” are both just pathways to ceding the future to someone else.

So that is what is happening and what will continue to happen.

I was the equivalent of a supervisor in the army at 21 and ran an entire (small) unit for nearly a year by myself. I was night shift manager of 19 people when I was 24 at a major title insurance company in the US. My team and I handled millions of dollars in business a year.

I was infrastructure manager (with a personal assistant!) when I was 26 for a nationwide organization with hundreds of employees.

Where I work now, one of our best managers is 34 and she’s been there for a year so she was doing it when she was 33.

Mostly agreed. The left began to fetishize Muslims to a truly bizarre degree after the Cold War.

That’s why (in large part) feminism transitioned to, “A burqa is feminist! All men are rapists, so women should not go out alone! Any skin showing is sexualization!” and such. All part of a larger trend that Noah mentions above.

Terrible stuff.

I’m with Noah. Fuck that noise.

When the burqa became “feminist” is about when I was done with feminism. Veiling and the burqa is anti-human and misogyny always. None can tell me the bottom photo represents more freedom, no matter what inane bullshit doofuses like the clown that Noah cites come up with.

They really won’t be happy to their goal of having women be constrained and wards of men again is met, will they? The left and right agree here; horseshoe theory is very real.
