Covid was definitely a lab escape with some minor mods from the wild type. The problem is that any scientists who would claim this are terribly afraid of having their funding cut and/or being harassed by the CCP, so they either say nothing or just spout nonsense to avoid the loss of cash and the hassle.

The reality is that Covid is just another meh coronavirus that has the distinction of being released from a lab after a few mods that allowed it to infect humans more readily. Other than its origin, it’s pretty normal and the Long Covid rate defined sanely is in line with other similar post-viral sequelae.

It’s hard to find a shooting range outside of the military, though, where you can target shoot anything more than 300 meters out. The kind of shooting I’d need to do, I’d want a range with targets out to a thousand meters. I’m very good at all distances but I’m great at long range. Just for a personal story of what they attempt to impress in the minds of men, I remember one guy I used to know before I stopped talking to him during covid- who apparently now goes around claiming to be a woman- who shared some meme arguing that boys should be taught that if they ask a girl out and she says no the proper thing to do is cut off all contact with her. This was somehow supposed to empower women and prevent harassment while making boys understand how to interact with women. In reality, it requires profound blindness to not see it separates women into a dichotomy of those who will have sex with you and basically bitches who hate you that you are not to speak to. No space was left for trying to get to know her better, doing something to impress her, or even just the possibility that in her feminine nature she was hoping a man would try a little harder. [In reality, one study showed that 45% of men between 18 and 25 have never approached a women in person, while 77% of women between 18 and 30 wish men approached them more, making this one of countless examples of how ideological liberals and leftists are totally detached from how normal people feel.]
That’s the fucking dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, what the person in the first part of the snippet proposed. I’ve had some really good friends (and later, even, romantic partners) result from me asking a girl out, her saying no, but we became close friends after that.
And I see posts ALL THE TIME on Reddit where women ask, “Why does no man ever approach me? I’m not ugly and I’m friendly!” Well, that’s because men are told over and over and over and over and over again that approaching any woman in public in any context makes you an evil harassing abuser and you should never, ever do it. So that’s why. Who would want to risk the usual rejection, becoming a “star” on social media and potentially having their entire life ruined because you asked some woman out in public?
