Four reasons not to vote for Trump, and four reasons to vote for Harris.

There is no plausible reason to vote for Trump, other than brain damage. Even apart from his previously-demonstrated incompetence, as with Biden he’s simply too old and senile. This alone disqualifies him (or should). Do you really want J.D. Vance or Elon Musk running the country?

Also, Trump seems to be in the bag for our current and future enemies. The coming conflict with China is about the only thing that matters now. No one is focused on this likely-war enough, but to the extent that anyone is Trump wants to make sure we lose.

And those two items are enough to be a big hell no for Trump. He’s bad for the world and bad for America.

Remember, I am horrible at political predictions, unlike most of my others. I think I never take into account how incredibly stupid and uninformed the average is. That said, this is what I predict:

  • Harris will win 51.5% of the popular vote
  • Trump will underperform the polling
  • Harris will win Pennsylvania and Nevada
  • Trump will attempt a coup and the inauguration will be delayed 2-3 weeks, but lacking military support the coup will fail

Oh, absolutely, this is the case. The media makes vastly more money during close national elections. If Trump and Harris were held to the same standards, Trump would be 5-7% down and it wouldn’t even be a contest. But the absolutely insane things Trump says don’t get reported or get buried, while relatively innocuous actions or statements of Harris get distorted and reported on incessantly. This is to make the election be a contest not a landslide for Harris.

And to be clear: this would happen if Harris were the one doing insane things and Trump were the normal one. The media needs the election to be close to make that cheddar. That’s what’s going on.

Also, anyone who believes that January 6, 2021, was not a coup is a big fucking screaming idiot. Of course it was a coup.

That weren’t no tourist expedition to the Capitol. Jesus Fucking Christ. It was, like most things done by Trump, poorly-executed and cowardly. But it was a coup. And I’d say that even if I supported Trump. Too much clownery for words these days.

There could be principled objections to Harris and her policies. Could be. I haven’t really seen that, though. Most of what I’ve witnessed has just been misogyny and racism.

Personally, I think she’s slightly better than Obama. Which is not great. But is like a ray of heavenly light compared to Trump and Vance. And since Bezos decided to bend the knee to Trump, no way in hell I’m voting for that ticket (as if I needed another reason to not vote for a senile declining old rapist).

Indeed it will.

I think I need to practice shooting again. Might need that in this country soon enough. It’s hard to find a shooting range outside of the military, though, where you can target shoot anything more than 300 meters out. The kind of shooting I’d need to do, I’d want a range with targets out to a thousand meters. I’m very good at all distances but I’m great at long range. And I’m getting too old to jump out of planes and run around in trenches and that kinda shit.

Not all liberals are afraid of guns.

Fuck me, if Trump wins, Ukraine will be crushed and thus there is an 80% chance we will be fighting in Poland by 2032. Same for the South China Sea but that’s like 90%+. Trump absolutely will sell out Ukraine, Taiwan and all our allies.

If Harris wins, there’s still a large chance of the above but it’s more like 30% for Poland and 70% for SCS. Better, but not great.

WWIII, here we come I guess. Fucking hell.

Polls for the presidential election are gonna be way, way wrong again and then we’ll have to spend another four fucking years being gaslit about how “the polls were really correct” and that “the experts actually did get it right” when anyone with an ounce of sense and statistics knowledge can tell that’s just utter bullshit.

‘They’re Just Over It’: How Trump Has Converted Male Frustration Into a Movement.

The reaction in many ways doesn’t make a lot of sense (as in actually solving anything1), but that there was a backlash is completely predictable.

For a couple of decades now since it curdled into uselessness, feminism has been spouting the idea that men are inherently evil (Schrödinger’s rapist), that an unattractive man just minding his own business and existing is “creepy,” and that men are responsible and accountable for everything, while women should have power with no responsibility or accountability.

Needless to say, that puts many men off and makes them angry. Including me. I just don’t think that punishing or hating women for it will actually fix anything. Nor will voting for Trump.

But yeah, it’s perfectly understandable to not want to vote for a party that’s supported people and still contains some people that tell you that you are inherently terrible.

Big fucking shock.
