Intelligence makes so much difference. Oxis is one of those people who just radiates it. You can tell there is a lot going on in there even when the song is relatively simple. There are layers. She also seems to have lost the alien parasite around her neck.

And aesthetically, those shots of her in the tank in the Leeloo outfit are great (and will make the prudes angry, which is also nice).

I have a deep love for shoegaze. This is the first time I’ve really seen any of that band even though I’ve been listening to them for a while; all their videos are filmed seemingly through mud.

I really like how this song evokes a particular mood.

The audio quality on this is truly terrible. Just abysmal.

But…voice? Yeah, that’s great. But that guitar playing, holy fuck. She’s the only guitar player I’ve ever seen play this piece and get that Keith Richards raw raucous dirty sound. And look how she bends those notes. This the only performance of that piece that matches Richards.

Too bad about that turd-level audio.
