I’d posit that war is always atrocity, but sometimes it’s better than the other choices on offer. Pacifism has no answers, alas — it just means that those willing to dominate with force of arms and threat of violence do so with no consequences. The same destruction and genocide occur, just with no opposition even in principle.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about meta-evolution and the idea that evolution itself is constrained by the base instantiation of the universe to produce creatures that in individualized form tend to be war-like when combined with the ability to accrue resources that are durable over time.

Still pondering that one.

Exactly. If some entity invaded the US, I’d to the best of my abilities repel and if needed kill every damn one of them I could get in my gunsight. But I wouldn’t torture or rape them. And I certainly wouldn’t be kidnapping civilian women at music festivals, mutilating and violating their corpses and then parading them through the streets in celebration.

That is the behavior of psychopaths. That is against all ethics and morals. Anyone who in any way supports that is my adversary and is the enemy of civilization itself. Hamas and those like them deserve to be crushed for this. They are the enemies, in fact, of the very idea of ethical conduct and morality itself. There is no coming back from what they did to Shani Louk and all the others whose lives and beings they desecrated with their savagery.

And if you disagree with me here, you’re my foe too.

Good. Wish I could’ve pulled the trigger myself. I have no compunction nor remorse for taking out trash. That would have zero weight on my conscience because I would’ve done the world a service. I’d never torture anyone, as they tortured Shani. It’s pointless. It’s counterproductive. But some people just deserve two bullets in the head and one in the heart.

Because these sort of things should be seen, and because her family wanted this anti-civilized horror to be witnessed to shame the world, here is Shani’s body with the (mostly) now-dead savages (it’s not clear Shani is dead yet in this photo or not but I hope she was1):

But let’s not remember her like that only.

What happened to Shani is what you support when you back Hamas, you useful idiots.

  1. There is an even worse video where her lifeless naked body is paraded through the streets of Gaza, but I can’t bring myself to watch that again. And I don’t want to subject anyone else to that either.

There are a lot of dead people in this video. If you can’t handle that, don’t watch it.

That said, if I were Israel and this had happened to my country I’d have been even less restrained than they are. Hamas and Hezbollah are terrorist organizations and they hide among civilians. Their goal is get their own people killed to whip up sympathy. Pretty fucking slimy. And it’s not that Israel has done everything right, but I understand the rage and the tactics they use. Given the opposition, their choices are narrow.

By the way, butchering civilians at a music festival is indeed a war crime.

But I wanted to post it for Russia supporters/Putin worshippers as that is an example of an actual war crime. Executing POWs is and has been for many, many years a war crime. Just so we’re clear.

It is a FUCKING INSANE idea that when a country decides to invade another one, that the invaded country should allow it to happen, and just surrender to preserve life and property. Most often (as with Russia attempting to conquer Ukraine) the invasion is for the purpose of genocide, theft and destruction. It seems, though, that Russia supporters are the only ones spouting that sort of nonsense these days. And of course they do not claim the same thing about the native people of North America — that is, no one is saying that they should’ve just meekly surrendered to the British, Spanish et al. and hoped for the best.

Clownish hypocrites, every single one of them. Russia also wishes to take Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and most of all, Poland. Should that just be allowed? That’s all good? Those countries should just go ahead and surrender now? Jesus Fucking Christ. Also, if China decides it wants North America, we should just say, “OK, we surrender?” That just allows anyone who plays by jungle rules to do whatever they want. Is that really a world we want to live in. I. Do. Fucking. Not. How can anyone’s brain get this broken?

Not that long ago, Russia got what it wanted in Ukraine and this happened.

The idea that the minute any country acts hostile to another one, the country experiencing the hostile actions should just expose their belly is, again, FUCKING INSANE.

It’s totally fucked how Putin pud polishers will maintain that legitimate use of legal military weapons on uniformed soldiers is a war crime while the bombing of hospitals by Russia is totally fine and not a war crime.

Hospital shouldn’t have tried to join NATO…twice.
