Anyway, supermodels aren’t what the vast majority of straight men find the most attractive. I thought Aella would know this? Supermodels are picked for being unusual-looking and statuesque as much as being hot qua hot. And “hottest women in the world” lists are nearly all assembled by women and gay men. Straight men have little to no input and so those lists do not match male preferences in the least. How does Aella not realize these things, as smart as she is?
Scarlett Johansson in her 20s would be an an example of what most men1 would claim as the pinnacle of female attractiveness and though she’s very beautiful, her physique and even face do not look like the typical supermodel’s.

To be somewhat fair, they were likely under fire. That said, the Russians do this sort of shit all the time. They do not care about the other soldiers’ lives they serve with in a way that’s hard for me to understand, having served as a paratrooper for five years. We just did not, would never have, treated each other that way.
There is something very diseased in that culture.
It seems like the same people who think we should allow homeless ranting vagrants some assault, as a treat, are also the ones who believe we should permit Russia and Putin some genocide on the Ukrainians for “peace.”

It’s kind of hard to have a viable industrial economy with electricity that expensive. But the UK and Germany (et al.) did that to themselves.

That has a negative dollar value; that is not even food. I never buy anything edible that’s not prepackaged and shelf stable on flights for just this reason.

Partially because I grew up in a paranoid place, I never suspected how many people would just mutely accept the amount of surveillance and monitoring they readily welcome into their lives now.

Brother, if you are with a woman you are afraid will trick you into getting pregnant, you are with the wrong fucking woman no matter how many kids you have. For me, if I even suspected my partner were going to do something of that nature (kids or not), this would be a “leave immediately” situation. This is unconscionable.
How do people live like this?

This is correct; we are already in WWIII’s beginning phases and we should act like it. There is a certain inevitability to these things. We are making it worse, not better, by not helping Ukraine enough. I don’t completely agree with Kyle but we’re on a path globally that leads to a world-devastating conflict, with very few realistic ways to avoid it.
Our goal now should be to make it the least bad and shortest war possible. Which we in the US are not doing at all, and neither is Europe.
