Keyed in

Oh hell yes, sign me the fuck up.

A decent phone with a real keyboard? Why has no one made these in the last half-dozen years?

Many, many people want a physical keyboard. Huh, right, the market is efficient and all that. I guarantee that I can type faster on that than nearly anyone can text on a touch keyboard, except for those people who practice to enter the text speed-typing competitions.

An actual usable keyboard on a phone sounds great. Unless it is totally horrible, itโ€™ll be my next phone.

  1. That’s pretty much why I hung onto my magic ink phone way past the point of useability. It’s painful for me to type on a touchscreen, especially with autocorrect.
I haven’t tried Blackberry style keyboards.

    • I had two Blackberries, don’t remember the models. The first one had a great keyboard. I could type nearly as fast on it as I could a real keyboard.

The second the keys were far too small — and my hands aren’t that large for male hands.
