Comcast is such a terrible company that we will in the future make sure we never move to anywhere that Comcast is the only ISP, no matter the other advantages.

Since local political leadership everywhere seems to want “higher property values,” that should be a good incentive for municipalities to embark on municipal broadband projects, or if they can’t, to lobby against those who lobby against the possibility of municipal broadband. In theory.
I’d definitely pay a good chunk more for a house that had fiber. So would a lot of people who live in my area, being a major tech hub.
